In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, members of the Penn State York campus community will gather to assemble 240 personal hygiene kits for the YWCA of York on Thursday, Jan. 19, at noon.
Penn State York will again honor the late Maddie Hill on Jan. 24 in a ceremony between the women's and men's basketball games. Hill, a devoted THON member, died in June 1996 after a fierce battle with cancer three times.
A variety of performances will take to the stage as the season continues at the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center at Penn State York. Tickets are on sale now for all shows, including “Dragons and Mythical Beasts,” “Kim Russo – The Happy Medium,” “An Evening with Branford Marsalis,” and “An Evening with George Takei,” of “Star Trek” fame, just to name a few.
A Toys for Tots drive is happening now through Dec. 22 sponsored by the Student Veterans of America, York Chapter, who have partnered with the Marine Corps.
A new mobile Penn State id+ card is anticipated to launch in January 2023, allowing students to use their mobile devices to conveniently, safely and securely access campus housing facilities, purchase meals, and more.
