Suzuki, author and professor of neural science and psychology at New York University, will be the featured speaker for the Founders’ Lecture for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Penn State York, as OLLI celebrate its 10-year anniversary of offering lifelong learning opportunities. The program will be held from 2-4 p.m. Oct. 26 in the conference center on campus.

The series, sponsored by the Penn State York Office of Student Affairs, is open to the public. Tickets are not needed for this event.

“Incredibles 2,” a family-friendly film featuring that adventurous super hero family, the Parrs; and “The First Purge,” a horror/thriller movie for mature audiences, are the featured films for the drive-in movie at Penn State York set for 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14. The rain date is Sept. 21.
Penn State York, Fox 43, and the American Red Cross have joined together to ask area residents to bleed for a good cause. The American Red Cross is in need of blood donations, and a community drive is set for Aug. 23 at Penn State York. The blood drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Conference Center of the Main Classroom Building and is open to the public.
