Penn State York is bringing back its drive-in outdoor movie for the first time since the pandemic. As is pictured here from a previous year, the parking lot behind the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center (The Pullo Center) on campus will be transformed into a drive-in movie venue with a huge inflatable big screen. Moviegoers can stay in their cars or bring chairs and blankets to sit outside and enjoy "Top Gun Maverick" beginning at 7:15 p.m.
In 2019, Penn State police officers hosted in-person events for National Coffee with a Cop Day at campuses across Pennsylvania. This year, University Police will host a virtual event in order to safely stay engaged with the Penn State community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Representatives from Penn State York presented books to students at Edgar Fahs Smith STEAM Academy, which includes students in kindergarten through sixth grade, during a special assembly. Ann Fetterman, assistant teaching professor in English; Marissa James Dellinger, a teacher at the elementary school and a Penn State graduate; and Julianne Stealey, a Penn State York student and one of the students instrumental to the project.
