Universal Children's Day celebration scheduled for Nov. 13 at Penn State York

For the fourth consecutive year, students enrolled in the Advanced Child Development (HDFS 429) class at Penn State York, have organized Universal Children’s Day at the campus. This celebration of children is from 12:15-1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, in the Precision Custom Components (PCC) Community Room in the Joe and Rosie Ruhl Student Community Center on campus

Candlelight vigil for child abuse awareness set for March 28 at Penn State York

Penn State York students in the Human Development and Family Studies Club are preparing for the eighth annual candlelight vigil for child abuse awareness and prevention set for March 28 at the campus. Programming will begin at 4 p.m. as part of the weekly Coffee Hour in the conference center in the Main Classroom building. The vigil will take place at 5:30 p.m. outside the John J. Romano Administration Building.

Candlelight vigil for child abuse awareness set for April 5 at Penn State York

Penn State York students in the Council on Family Relations (PSY-CFR) Club, and members of other human development and family studies (HD FS) classes are preparing for the seventh annual candlelight vigil for child abuse awareness set for Thursday, April 5 at the campus. The vigil takes place at 5:30 p.m., but other programming and information will be available beginning at 4 p.m. as part of the weekly Coffee Hour on campus.
