Can I be considered for financial aid beyond the tuition grant provided by Penn State?
Yes. Complete the 2023–24 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as early as possible, and no later than May 1.
Where can I obtain additional information regarding funding for summer enrollment?
The Financial Aid Office at Penn State York is located in the Main Classroom Building on campus, and can be reached at 717-771-4196.
May associate degree students participate in the Nittany Scholars Summer Bridge Program?
Yes, both baccalaureate and associate degree students may enroll in the program.
On-Campus Housing
Will there be on-campus housing for Nittany Scholars Summer Bridge students?
No, there is no on-campus housing available. To learn about off-campus housing, click here.
Food Service
Is food service available?
Yes, lunch will be available during this program at your expense.
Funding
Is other student aid available?
Yes, please consult with staff in the Penn State York Financial Aid Office, Main Classroom Building, on campus. In addition, should other student aid become available to you as a result of your participation in the Nittany Scholars Summer Bridge Program, you will be notified by way of your Penn State email.
All Nittany Scholars Summer Bridge participants are automatically eligible to continue in the NSP throughout their time as a student at Penn State York. NSP students receive scholarships for book costs, and a variety of other exciting opportunities throughout the academic year.
