Jamila Bowen hopes her experience working on the help desk at Penn State York will lead to a job with Google, something she has dreamed about since she was 8 years old. Bowen will cross the stage at Penn State York's 19th annual fall commencement on Dec. 20 to receive an associate degree in information sciences and technology.
Saul Flores will share his 5,328 mile journey in a presentation, The Walk of the Immigrants, on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at Penn State York. The program, at 12:15 p.m. in the PCC Community Room, is free and open to the public.
