Students who are new to Penn State and all students living in University housing are reminded that they must submit their immunization records using myUHS through a new three-step process. As part of this process, students who do not submit their immunization records prior to Sept. 15 will be unable to register for spring 2017 classes.
Penn State York, Fox 43, and the American Red Cross have joined together to ask area residents to bleed for a good cause. The American Red Cross is in need of blood and a community drive is set for Aug. 25 at Penn State York. The blood drive is from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Conference Center of the Main Classroom Building and is open to the public.

Deborah Eicher-Catt, professor in the communication arts and sciences at Penn State York; Shirley Moody-Turner, associate professor of English and African-American studies in the College of the Liberal Arts; and Craig R. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech is regarded as one of the most powerful speeches in history. Six Penn State York students will do a dramatic reading of King’s famous speech at 12:15 p.m. Feb. 4 in the conference center at Penn State York. The program, sponsored by the Penn State York Black Student Union and the campus diversity committee, is free and open to the public.
