Travel to the Caribbean through the music of Ewabo Calypso Band

Ewabo Calypso Band opens the 2018-19 free cultural series at Penn State York with the sounds of the steel drum at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, in the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center (The Pullo Center) on campus. The series, sponsored by the Penn State York Office of Student Affairs, is open to the public. Tickets are not needed for this event.

Jesse McCartney brings his music to the stage at the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center (The Pullo Center) at Penn State York at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31. Tickets can be purchased at The Pullo Center Box Office, charge by phone at 717-505-8900, or ordered online. Tickets are $60 and $35, and special meet-and-greet opportunities can be purchased separately. Penn State York students can purchase a ticket to the performance for $17.

Penn State York parking lot becomes a drive-in movie for a night

“Incredibles 2,” a family-friendly film featuring that adventurous super hero family, the Parrs; and “The First Purge,” a horror/thriller movie for mature audiences, are the featured films for the drive-in movie at Penn State York set for 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14. The rain date is Sept. 21.

The parking lot behind the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center (The Pullo Center) at Penn State York will once again be transformed into a drive-in movie on Friday, Sept. 14, when the campus features two movies on the big screen. "Incredibles 2" starts at 7:30 p.m., and "The First Purge" begins at 9:45 p.m.  The annual event is free and open to the public.

Run, Hide, Fight: Surviving an Active Attacker

Penn State has adopted the Run, Hide, Fight method to provide students, faculty, staff and visitors with the tools to think clearly and act quickly if faced with an active attacker. In addition to in-person training provided by University Police and Public Safety, WPSU and University Police have produced an online training video illustrating Run, Hide, Fight in action.
