The Nittany Lion Shrine at Penn State York wears a graduation cap in honor of the upcoming University-wide virtual commencement set for Saturday, Dec. 19 at 2 p.m.
Federal research and grant programs for small business will be discussed during the final presentation of the semester through the York LaunchBox, powered by Penn State. The free Zoom session is set for 6 p.m. on Dec. 9.
The York LaunchBox closes out the semester with Kelly Wylam, director, Innovation Partnership, Ben Franklin Technology Partners, sharing information about federal research and development grant programs for small business. The program, via Zoom, is free and open to the public, and offers participants an opportunity to ask questions.
Advising Award nominations are being gathered for fall 2020 at Penn State York. The deadline to submit a nomination for an outstanding adviser is Friday, Dec. 18 at 5 p.m.
Students at Penn State York signed up to receive a puzzle kit of a popular campus photo and it was drop shipped to their homes. Many students completed the puzzle and posted photos on social media. This is just one of the many ways the student affairs office and campus student groups are staying connected during the pandemic. This was one of the most popular activities for fall.
