October is LGBTQIA+ History Month, an annual month-long observance of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender history, and the history of the gay rights and related civil rights movements. It was founded in 1994 by Missouri high-school history teacher Rodney Wilson.
Posters are on display across the campus throughout the LGBTQIA+ History Month of October, highlighting important facts and resources. The poster series is sponsored by the Penn State York Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee.
