YORK, Pa. — “Inside Out 2” will be the featured film for the drive-in movie at Penn State York set for 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13. The film is free and open to the public.
Guests can park in the lower parking lot area behind the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center on campus beginning at 6 p.m.
Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” takes place inside the mind of Riley, who is a young girl experiencing teenage emotions for the first time. This family friendly film is rated PG and touches on themes of building a strong sense of self.
“This is a great opportunity for Penn State York and our outside community to come together for a fun, memorable night,” said Sadie Schantz, University Programming Board (UPB) Executive Board member.
The production company showing the movies will have its own tuner system, so those who would like to stay in their vehicles and listen to the movie, as per a traditional drive-in experience, can do so. There also will be a spot set up in front of the parking lot for those attendees who wish to relax outside of their car and watch the movie. Be sure to bring a chair or blanket for outdoor seating.
Drinks, candy and other snacks will be available for $1 per item, with proceeds going to children battling pediatric cancer and their families.
This program is funded by a grant from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. Penn State York supports sober student activities.
