The Pullo Family Performing Arts Center Announces its fall lineup

Tickets are on sale now for the fall season at the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center (the Pullo Center) at the Penn State York campus. The 1,016-seat theatre first opened its doors in 2005 and has since hosted a wide array of touring acts, from classical ballet performances to the absurd comedy of Weird Al Yankovic. 

This fall will feature haunted objects, magic, and radio hits, before welcoming the holiday spirit, with all its nostalgia.  

The Evasons, World’s Foremost Mentalist Duo  

Friday, August 30, 2024, at 7:30 p.m.  

The Evasons have been known to know people’s birthdays, names of loved ones, and even the contents of their pockets – down to the serial number on a bill in their wallet. This world-famous duo has appeared in more than forty countries, made many television appearances, and have earned some of the world’s top awards in magic and mentalism. 

Amy Bruni: An Evening of Haunted Tales and Food to Die For  

Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 7:30 p.m.  

Amy Bruni may be known for her work as the “Kindred Spirits” co-host, but she is also an author of a spooky cookbook! On September 10, she will give live cooking demonstrations while telling the origins of recipes associated with haunted locations. 

Haunted Objects Live! - Chilling, True Tales from the Newkirk Museum of the Paranormal     

Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 7:30 p.m.  

Greg and Dan Newkirk, from Travel Channel’s “Kindred Spirits” and Amazon Prime’s “Hellier,” will be sharing the stories behind some of the cursed objects they’ve encountered through their time as paranormal investigators.

Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 7:30 p.m.  

Six-time Grammy Award-winning musician Dionne Warwick will be performing some of her hit singles, including, “Don’t Make Me Over,” “Walk on By,” “Say a Little Prayer,” “A House is Not a Home,” and more. 

Jim Henson’s Labyrinth: In Concert  

Friday, September 27, 2024, at 7:30 p.m.  

Audiences will get the chance to see Jim Henson’s cult classic on the big screen, complete with a live band, performing the iconic soundtrack in sync with David Bowie’s original vocals. 

Mean Girls - Broadway Tour  

Friday, October 11, 2024, at 7:30 p.m.  

From the comedic mind of Tina Fey comes this Broadway musical about a new girl at a suburban Illinois high school who works on fitting in. USA Today said, “We’ll let you in on a little secret, because we’re such good friends: GET YOUR TICKETS NOW!” 

An Evening with Peter Billingsley & A Christmas Story  

Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 7:30 p.m.  

The holiday classic movie “A Christmas Story” will be shown on the big screen, followed by a Q&A with Peter Billingsley. VIP ticket holders will get a meet-and-greet with the iconic actor before the show. 

Get The Led Out 

Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 8:00 p.m.  

Fans of the rock band Led Zeppelin will get a chance to experience classic hit songs, as well as lesser-known Zeppelin songs, live in a high-energy performance. No wigs or fake accents here! Get The Led Out has been described as “The American Led Zeppelin,” by media outlets. 

A Motown Christmas 

Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. 

Members of some of Motown’s most legendary groups — including The Temptations, The Miracles, and The Contours — will come together to perform family friendly holiday classics in soulful Motown style.
