Penn State York students joined thousands of other students supporting dancers taking part in the Penn State Dance Marathon.

Members of Penn State York Benefiting THON group wait in the entrance plan line to take part in the Penn State Dance Marathon (THON), Feb. 18-20 at the Bryce Jordan Center (BJC) in State College, Pennsylvania.  This was THON's 50th anniversary and turned out to be a record-breaking fundraising event.

Fred Saffold will share his experiences with audiences in his presentation, "What They Didn't Teach you in History Class - America's Hidden True Black History," when he speaks on March 3 at 12:15 p.m. at Penn State York.  The program is free and open to the public.

Plush animals, wearing Penn State York T-shirts, were bagged up to take to children at the hospital.

Participants in the Stuff-A-Plush event also wrote messages of hope on colorful paper handprints for children at Hershey.

Spreading a little joy, Tyler Muessig, left, and Victoria Huynh stuffed plush animals for children at the Penn State Health Children's Hospital during an event on campus. More than 100 stuffed and unstuffed plush animals were delivered along with messages of hope.

"Bloom," a watercolor painting by Elisabeth Schueneman, a Penn State York student, is featured on the cover of the recently-released tenth edition of "Any Other Word," the online literary magazine at Penn State York. Schueneman won first-place winner in the Penn State York Literary competition.
