Fourteen Penn State York students who are members of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Collegiate at the campus brought back 18 national awards from the FBLA National Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, held in June. She has been the adviser and taking the group from York to competitions for five years. Johnathan "John John" Gillespie crosses the stage during the commencement ceremony on May 5, 2023, in the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center at Penn State York. Gillespie earned a bachelor of science in human development and family studies and was a key player on the men's basketball team.

Blocking a pass, Johnathon "John John" Gillespie was an important part of the men's basketball team at Penn State York and appreciated the opportunities presented to him both on and off the court.  He scored his 1,000th career point during his senior year and was a part of two championship teams while at the campus.
