Robots will once again be in action during the FTC South Central PA Regional Qualifier happening Saturday, Jan. 21 at Penn State York. Thirty-six teams are registered for the competition. Spectators can watch the robotics competition which is free. Opening ceremonies are at 10:45 a.m.

Penn State York Benefiting THON is partnering with the American Red Cross for a THON Blood Drive from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25 at Penn State York. The blood drive, in the Community Room of the Joe and Rosie Ruhl Student Community Center, is open to the public. The American Red Cross will make a monetary donation to THON for each unit donated.

King told the crowd that “segregation is on its death bed today,” and the only question was “how costly the segregationist will make the funeral.” King was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee, on April 4, 1968.
Auditions for Penn State York Benefiting THON’s Paw Search are set for 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, in the rehearsal room of the Pullo Family Preforming Arts Center on campus. This is the final opportunity to do a live audition for the show, which is schedule for Friday evening, Jan. 20, in The Pullo Center.
