Penn State York is offering the 100-hour training program for Personal Care Home Administrators (PCHAs) beginning Sept. 28. The 19-sesion program is offered on Fridays and Saturdays in the John J. Romano Administration Building.
Penn State Health's planned acute care hospital in Cumberland County will feature 108 private inpatient beds, an emergency department, physician offices, various specialty inpatient services, imaging and lab services, and complete medical and surgical capabilities.
The Founders' Lecture on Oct. 26 at Penn State York celebrates the work of three women, Olive Padden, Charmaine Kissinger, and the late Gussie Petron, whose thirst for knowledge and mental stimulation led to the creation of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Penn State York. The organization is marking its' 10th anniversary of offering lifelong learning opportunities in the York area.

Suzuki will speak from 2-4 p.m. Oct. 26, and tickets are on sale now.
