Tucker Hass
Founder and President
Tucker Haas Foundation
Tucker Haas is a motivational speaker, four-time cancer survivor, and president and founder of the Tucker Haas Foundation. A York County native and proud Penn State graduate, Tucker earned his bachelor of science degree in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management with a minor in Sports Studies in May 2023. During his time at Penn State, he developed a strong commitment to philanthropy, helping raise more than $50,000 individually for Penn State’s THON and leading a team of over 250 students that collectively raised more than $452,000 in a single year.
Tucker’s journey has been shaped by resilience, perspective, and a desire to help others navigate challenges in their own lives. After facing cancer four separate times, he was inspired to create the Tucker Haas Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting cancer survivors as they transition back into everyday life and build confidence in what comes next. His philosophy, TUCK – Thinking Boldly, Embracing Uniqueness, Fostering Courage, and Spreading Kindness – serves as the foundation of his message and encourages others to embrace their story and move forward with purpose.
Beyond his nonprofit work and speaking engagements, Tucker is passionate about sports and golf, which have played an important role in shaping his discipline and perspective. Through experiences such as his internship at Pebble Beach Golf Links, he has continued to explore ways to combine his love for sports with his desire to make a positive impact.
Tucker’s mission is to help people recognize their strength, embrace their journey, and believe in what is possible for their future. He is honored to return to Penn State York to celebrate the graduating class of 2026 and to share a message centered on resilience, courage, and possibility.
