Penn State York students moved their tassels from left to right on their caps to signify that they have graduated during the Penn State York commencement ceremony at PeoplesBank Park in York, Pennsylvania. The ceremony, held on the infield of the ballpark, provided an exciting venue for the event.

Rivera graduated with a bachelor of science in human development and family studies and already has accepted a position as a behavioral health technician at US Medical Staffing in Philadelphia. Rivera, from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, was among the 48 students who attended the campus' first in-person commencement since fall 2019.

Penn State celebrated the accomplishments of graduates during its spring 2021 commencement ceremonies May 7 through May 9. This spring the University awarded approximately 14,400 diplomas to students University-wide who are completing associate, baccalaureate, master, law, doctoral and medical degrees. All figures listed are estimates as of April 5; totals do not include the Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Penn State Behrend awarded 669 undergraduate and graduate degrees at two outdoor commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 8. The ceremonies were held at Behrend's soccer stadium, with COVID safety protocols in place for the duration of each program.
